Can workshop participants keep what they make in the workshop?
In most workshops participants do not take home what they make. The description of the workshop will indicate if anything made is kept by participants. The cost of these materials is included in the workshop cost.

Do parents stay with their children during workshops or drop them off and come back to pick them up?
Most parents drop off their child and return at the end of the workshop. Parents are welcome to stay if they wish. We have a lounge area available for parents in the same building as the workshops. Parents are also welcome to go into their child’s workshop to see what they are doing.

Can I park in the onsite car park?
Yes. Their is ample parking available inside the school grounds.

Does my child need to bring any food or drink with them?
Children are encouraged to bring a water bottle with them. If your child will be on site for more than 2 hours please also provide them with a snack / lunch as appropriate. Please do not send any peanut products. If your child is thirsty and doesn’t have a drink bottle we will certainly give them a drink of water as required.

How do I enrol my child in a workshop?
Click on any Book Online Now button. This will take you to our Trybooking site for the Holiday Workshops. Select the workshop required and follow the instructions on the site. Payment is made online by Visa, Mastercard or Amex debit or credit cards using Trybooking’s secure site. There is a 30 cent booking fee for each ticket purchased.

The workshop my child wants to do is full – do you have a waiting list?
If a workshop is full you may place your details on our waiting list using Trybooking. If a place becomes available due to a cancellation we will contact you.

I need to cancel my booking – do you give refunds?
You may request a full refund (less the 30c booking fee) for a workshop up until 24 hours before the workshop commences. Requests for refunds may be made using our Contact Us page.

Is WELL considered Out of School Hours Care (OOSHC)?
No. WELL provides specific educational workshops and is not after school care or holiday care.

Who owns Western Enrichment Learning Lab?
WELL is an activity of Mamre Anglican School, ABN 63 544 529 806. Any financial surplus from the running of WELL goes to other educational programs at the school. For more information about the school go to www.mamre.nsw.edu.au.

How are your staff selected?
All our staff have a current NSW Working with Children Check clearance, have had referee checks and are committed to Mamre Angican School’s Christian mission. Most staff are current school teachers or have other relevant qualifications and experience.
